1.

It is a great, quick, and easy way to make this dish, but you can also use a white shrimp that is bleached and white in color.

2.

Heat the butter and salt in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Remove the shrimp from the pan, transfer to a bowl, and set aside.

3.

Preheat the oven to 350F.

Cut the shrimp into small pieces and set them on a baking sheet.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Place the shrimp in a single layer on the baking sheet, covering with about 1 inch of baking parchment.

Bake for 30 minutes.

Allow to cool for about 10 minutes before slicing into 1 inch cubes.4.

While the shrimp are cooking, preheat the broiler to medium-low.

Heat a large nonstick skillet over low heat.

Cook the shrimp for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

5.

While shrimp are roasting, melt the butter in a small bowl and add the olive oil.

Stir to coat the shrimp.

Once butter is melted, add the garlic, ginger, and salt.

Cook for 3-5 seconds, stirring often.

Add 2 cups of water and cook until the shrimp is tender.

Remove from heat and serve immediately.
